Robert Half Paralegal in Woburn, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Paralegal in Woburn, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be a part of our Legal team, focusing on real estate transactions. You will provide administrative and legal support, maintain regulatory compliance programs, and assist in transactional and compliance matters.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct legal research and update legal databases regularly
• Assist in the preparation, execution, and administration of legal documents
• Support attorneys with creating files, scanning documents, and handling correspondence
• Review, abstract, and draft legal documents as well as create payment requests
• Collaborate with department attorneys and internal business clients for new legal matters
• Perform due diligence fact-finding, gathering facts, and documents from various sources
• Resolve day-to-day issues related to pending litigation or other projects
• Notarize and/or witness documents executed on behalf of the company
• Assist with intake for new legal matters and track these through resolution
• Draft form legal documents and correspondence under attorney supervision. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word is required, with a preference for candidates familiar with the full Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must demonstrate strong skills in operations and payment processing.
• Capable of conducting thorough research and handling materials efficiently.
• Experience in reviewing and managing databases is necessary.
• Familiarity with contract review and negotiation is essential.
• Must have experience supervising teams or projects.
• Ability to manage detail oriented correspondence effectively.
• Must have experience in filing, scanning documents, and maintaining organized records.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Proficiency in data analysis is a must.
• Experience or knowledge in real estate is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Familiarity with compliance functions and legal documentation is necessary.
• Must be capable of conducting due diligence investigations.
• Understanding of legal principles is required.
• Experience in legal research is essential.
• Proven skills in drafting legal documents and correspondences.
