We are looking for a R&D Technician Bio-polymers to join our Research and Development team in Oberwinterthur.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Support R&D engineers in the commissioning of R&D pilot plants for the production of bio-polymers and bio-monomers.
Participate to continuous trials of the pilot plants operating in shifts (around 10 days per month)
Support R&D engineers in the improvement and preparation and pilot plants
Be responsible for the order and maintenance of pilot plant equipment
Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety in the piloting facilities
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Technical background as a chemical production technician
Practical experience on field with chemical plants and ideally pilot plants
Willingness to work in a dynamic R&D environment
Experience in safe operation practices
Good user skills in MS-Office
Good knowledge of English (German is a plus)
Team player and outgoing personality with a precise way of working
