We are seeking an experienced Accounting professional for a construction company in Winter Springs, FL, where innovation and growth drive their mission. We're on the lookout for a Accounting Manager to join a great team while working closely with the CFO. With a focus on the construction industry, you'll oversee financial operations, analyze data for efficiency, and ensure compliance. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Accounting or Finance, has at least 10 years experience in an Accounting role, has worked in Netsuite, and has experience in the Construction industry. Responsibilities

  • Support the CFO in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance /Accounting Department.

  • Relieve the CFO of certain responsibilities that will allow him to spend agreater portion of his time on Financial Statement preparation and analysis, Budget and Varianceissues, and Forecasting.

  • Prepare all general ledger entries; reconciling accounts.

  • Help with the evaluation of internal controls.

  • Review general ledger accounts.

  • Prepare and adjust journal entries.

  • Post monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals.

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of all bank and credit card accounts to ensure their accuracy.

  • Post daily cash receipts and make bank deposits.

  • Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports; verifying information.

  • Help with field work for financial and operational audits.

  • Research and correct account discrepancies.

  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements.

  • Assist in preparation of annual budget.

  • Assist with local, state, and federal government tax filings and other reporting requirements.

  • Assist in tracking and providing company Certificates of Insurance (COI's) to clients.

  • Assist with annual 401(k) audit.

  • General Ledger (6 years of experience is required)

  • Reconciliation (6 years of experience is required)

  • Account Reconciliation (6 years of experience is required)

  • General Accounting and Finance Skills (10 years of experience is required)

  • Journal Entries (6 years of experience is required)

  • Financial Reporting (5 years of experience is required)
