Serve as a thought leader in the delivery of complex risk reporting, data, business intelligence, and related services. Role is primarily aligned to support stakeholders, needs, and initiatives within the Risk Management Organization, but can also support other areas of Truist.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, implement, and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reports, analyses, data, system-related, or operational tasks in accordance with departmental processes and controls.
Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports, data, systems, etc. Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders.
Develop and administer controls to ensure the integrity of departmental process. Evaluate and recommend improvements to departmental processes.
Assist with development of departmental documentation.
Serve as a consultative resource on risk reporting, data, system, or related issues. Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements.
Lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives.
Act as a resource for teammates with less experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
5+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.). Understanding of foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines.
Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market.
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
Ability to lead small projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in banking, with specific emphasis on reporting, business intelligence, systems, technology, data, risk, compliance or related areas
Tableau Data Analyst Certification
Advanced skills in data wrangling, data engineering, data science, data visualization or related areas. Strong experience with languages and tools such as Python, SQL, SAS, and Tableau, etc.
