Novant Health Medical Unit Receptionist- Mother/Baby Unit in Winston Salem, North Carolina

Job Summary

  • Schedule: 7A-7P (day shift), part-time (24 hours), every third weekend & holiday rotation required. This unit self-schedules.

  • Department: Mother/Baby

  • Location: Forsyth Medical Center – Winston-Salem, NC

  • Unit Information: The unit cares for post-partum moms & babies (couplets)

  • Performs clerical and receptionist roles to facilitate the efficient operation and maintenance of the patient care area under the supervision of the health care team members.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.

  • Experience: One year experience in healthcare, preferred.

  • Licensure/certification/registration: NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.

  • Additional skills preferred: Experience with answering multiple phone lines. Basic computer skills. Excellent customer service behaviors.
