Job Summary
The Mammography Supervisor manages resources and provides leadership and oversight to assure smooth and coordinated daily flow and continuous improvement of core processes. The Mammography Supervisor leads the professional growth and development of each team member through education, training, mentoring, and guidance. The Mammography Supervisor assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the mammographic equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images. The Mammography Supervisor will spend 75% of time in the patient care area.

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of experience in Mammography, required.
Minimum of two years of experience in supervision, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography – RT(R)(M), required.
Applicable state licensure, required.
Additional Skills Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Physical requirements: Stand and move around the majority of the day; climb (to reach patient care equipment); lift patients and equipment; sit occasionally; bend and stoop; push/pull wheelchairs, carts and beds; see, hear, speak, smell and touch.
