Novant Health IT Infrastructure Project Manager III in Winston Salem, North Carolina

Job Summary

Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in healthcare facilities construction, design and/or technical solutions thatdrive delivery and enhance value to the business capability.This includes design planning, requirements management, deployment planning, and change management. Must be able to work in a high-speed collaborative environment and quickly to adjust and adapt solutions to meet expectations of capability owners. Ability to leverage principles of agile/waterfall framework and collaborate across teams for planning, team learning in the form of reviews and retrospectives, and adaptation of the process to ensure quality of team/solutions. Ensures the tracking and reporting of daily activities. Responsible for removing impediments that prevent a team from completing the work it has negotiated for a given sprint.

Digital Products and Services team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute a cybersecurity incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum six years Project / Product Management, required.

  • Minimum ten years overall IT experience, required.

  • Minimum four years healthcare experience, preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification: Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or equivalent, preferred.

  • Additional Skills Required:

  • Business analysis, product/project management, or product development.

  • Prior experience managing complex projects and/or programs.

  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).

  • Ability to provide necessary support to the gathering and writing of accurate and complete requirements specifications.

  • Acts as a catalyst to resolve project issues and conflicts.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to interface with Infrastructure/Technical internal and external team members.

  • Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.

  • Focus on: Facilities-DPS Construction and Design (positions leading Construction/Design projects).

  • Knowledge of building design, project estimating, and construction concepts and processes. Ability to read, interpret and mockup architectural drawings and plans. Conduct meetings and walkthroughs on site with various stakeholders. Strong ability to produce and manage project budgets and control costs. Ability to process, track, report and monitor change orders effectively. Strong relationship management skills including the ability to work collaboratively with construction and design professionals, 3rd party vendors, business partners and other DPS team members. Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret and understand both business and DPS requirements (includes but is not limited to low voltage, Infrastructure and telecommunications, End User technologies, software solutions, medical device integration, facility structure requirements) within any given construction and/or design project.
