Maintenance/Custodian
Primary Duties:
Responsible for keeping the dealership clean inside and outside.
Essential Duties:
Removing trash and debris, vacuuming rugs and carpeting, mopping floor, cleaning restrooms, cleaning windows, cleaning and sanitizing workstations, telephones, keyboards, light switches, and so forth for the health and safety of our customers and our employees. Also assisting the departments within the dealership with tasks such as picking up parts at outside vendors, picking up and returning service vehicles to customers, serving as a porter to customers needing a ride to and from town, maintaining the shop areas such as sweeping, cleaning the pits, hauling used tires to the dump, and running various errands. Assisting with seasonal grounds keeping including mowing the grass, spraying weeds, clearing sidewalks of snow and taking care of ice on the sidewalks as well as moving snow on the lot. Other duties may be assigned.
Skills required
: Must be able to follow and complete a checklist for cleaning the dealership and have the ability to stay on task and work independently while also taking direction from several department managers as needed.
Hours of employment:
Monday - Friday and some Saturdays, if needed. Hours will be discussed at interview but will be full time and at least 40 hours per week.
