Our client, a leader in the Industrial sector, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving professional to join their team. As a Shipping/Receiving specialist, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping/Receiving
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $15.50 per hour
Shift - 1st
What's the Job?
Directly responsible for shipping, receiving, and accounting for all produced or ordered materials to or from the company.
Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
Maintain the quality of the materials handled and keep the workspace, loading dock, and material storage areas clean.
Use work orders and schedules to account for the correct quantity, description, and size of all produced goods or equipment to be shipped.
Enter all incoming and outgoing information pertaining to inventory control into MRP within a reasonable time.
What's Needed?
High School diploma or GED.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping/receiving role.
Forklift experience required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
