Insight Global Remote Business Analyst in Windsor Mill, Maryland
Job Description
Serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with vendor and in-house developed applications. Documents functional requirements, analyzes requirements in the context of software and processes, develops test plans, assists with and documents business process improvement efforts, and works with production issues.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and operational support to line management in a variety of functional areas, which may include finance, proposals, pricing, contracting, human resources, etc.
Leads the planning and implementation of large programs in the function, and regularly interfaces with senior management and executive leadership.
Must demonstrated ability to specify cost and financing issues based on reviews of engineering concepts and requirements and designs, and in integrating the multiple economic and financial analysis tasks and activities involved in engineering projects.
Provides advice and counsel to the organization in area of expertise.
Plays a role in overall functional strategic planning.
Manages program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
Generates quotations on standard products and custom work as required; coordinates quotation follow-up activities with customers and product managers.
Reconciles purchase orders with quotes, including payment terms, delivery schedule, etc. Works with customers as a sales point-of-contact from receipt of PO through delivery of products and services.
Coordinates service/product deliveries, to include: PO travelers, daily delivery activities, domestic and export/import documentation, service and product invoicing, warranty status, etc.
Coordinates with sale representatives to perform the tasks identified.
Pay ranges from 55k to 83k based on experience.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting or relevant field required.
2-4 years experience & previous experience with medical claims
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus. null
