The Engineering Project Assistant (EPA) position will be responsible for assisting engineers with non-technical general administrative engineering related support activities. Individual must demonstrate the ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail, support multiple engineers and provide a wide variety of administrative and computer related tasks to assist engineering projects. This individual will perform as primary engineering support focal point for inquiries and problem resolution during the various phases of the engineering development cycle. Must possess the ability to coordinate and lead activities as well as strong organization and analytical skills.
What You Will Do
Create, format and edit engineering documentation
Provides tools expertise and support to Engineering (Microsoft O365 Apps, SAP, Windchill, Subversion, Jira/ALM, Sharepoint etc.)
Supports the Bid & Proposal process by inputting data into the template and performing bid narrative reviews utilizing Bid Master Web (BMW)
Collects metrics and prepare presentation materials
Coordinate and track Risk & Opportunity action items
Coordinate and facilitate Peer Review meetings
Update weekly customer slides
Create Meeting Minutes in support of internal/external customer meetings
Export Classification utilizing the xClass tool
Opening charge numbers
Coordinate Supplier Request for Information (SRI)
Engineering Change (EC) initiation\coordination thru release process
Enter Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates into a template
Manage drawing burndown metrics
Update Verification Memo trackers
Quality Notes (QN) coordination & inputs to SAP
Parts ordering and tracking
Assists Engineering leads with various project management tasks as required
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as O365
Experience in SAP, Subversion, Jira/ALM, SharePoint, Agile and Windchill

The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
