Robert Half Sr. IT Project Manager in Windsor, Connecticut
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. IT Project Manager in Windsor, Connecticut. The selected individual will be responsible for managing various IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, and coordinating with team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This role will also involve maintaining communication with senior leadership, making key decisions, and efficiently managing resources.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the full cycle of system development projects, from initiation to closure.
• Establish project teams and allocate tasks based on individual capabilities.
• Develop comprehensive project schedules to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Determine necessary resources for project execution and ensure they are available when needed.
• Facilitate clear communication with business stakeholders and senior leadership regarding project status, potential issues, and risks.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including financial forecasts and tracking.
• Collaborate with different technology and business organizations to define project scope and resource requirements.
• Regularly review and evaluate the work of the project team to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Use Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage project tasks and teams effectively.
• Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating team collaboration and ensuring adherence to Agile principles. Requirements • Applicant must hold the title of Sr. IT Project Manager.
• Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Agile SDLC is necessary for this role.
• Familiarity with SDLC Methodology is crucial.
• Knowledge of SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle is a requirement.
• Experience with Agile is essential.
• Understanding of various Agile frameworks is expected.
• Expertise in Agile Scrum is desired.
• Experience working with Scrum Teams is a plus.
• ScrumMaster experience is beneficial.
