Eaton Corporation Senior Project and Account Manager in Windsor, Connecticut

Eaton’s EPG CHD ALP Airport Lighting Products division is currently seeking a Senior Project and Account Manager.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborates with outside sales to develop, implement, and manage a regional strategy to maximize sales and profit growth.

  • Manages sales opportunities and builds strong business relationships with General and Electrical contacts including Airport Maintenance staff.

  • Participates in project take-off review process prior to quoting.

  • Conveys customer needs to broader team to ensure expectations are met.

  • Maintains customer satisfaction at acceptable levels and promptly resolves customer issues.

  • Shared accountability for development of assigned region. Capable of partnering with Sales to develop project capture strategies.

  • Manage post sale projects in all aspects to ensure satisfactory execution.

  • Routine work with SAP to enter quotes, purchase orders, Quality Notifications, etc.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting technical product sales to general and electrical contractors, such as, inside sales, project management, or technical sales.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship

  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Windsor, CT will be considered. Active-duty military members are exempt from this geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience supporting technical product sales to general and electrical contractors, such as, inside sales, project management, or technical sales.

  • Experienced selling into Airports and or selling technical products into Municipalities through General and Electrical contractors.

  • Industry knowledge of Airfield Lighting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management or similar

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar

Position Criteria:

  • Experience with the development of customers or regions remotely.

  • Proven technical sales track record including strong influencing, negotiation, and the development of project capture strategies.

  • Able to interact with customer decision makers, technical influencers and casual buyers. Able to translate customer feedback into actionable insight.

  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills

  • Capable of timely collaboration between sales, engineering, operations, product management, and finance.
