Lead .Net Full Stack Software Engineer (Hybrid)

This is a hybrid role. The first three months are fulltime in the office.

Our Team

As the Lead .NET Full Stack Software Engineer, you will contribute in a multitude of ways, from architecting phenomenal systems, creating, and encouraging good software development practices engineering-wide, driving strategic technical improvements, and mentoring other engineers. A Staff Software Engineer is also responsible for developing, maintaining, and repairing company software for maximum efficiency and usability. You will lead software performance management (measure and improve) , plan and execute projects involving multiple developers and complex requirements, prioritizing strategically.

Contribute to major architectural decisions and reads all project related tech specs, tracking status and considering implications to other systems, work with key stakeholders effectively to solve problems and make decisions.

  • Problems and issues faced are numerous and typically undefined where information is difficult to obtain.
  • Conducts extensive investigation to understand root cause of problems.
  • Problems span a wide range of difficult and unique issues across functions and / or businesses.
  • Responsible for improving upon existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.
  • Solutions are novel and unique, and achieved through research and integration of industry best practice.
  • Communicates with parties within and outside of own function, and typically has responsibilities for communicating with parties external to the organization, (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.).
  • Works to influence others to accept job function’s view / practices and agree / accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the organization.
  • May conduct briefings with senior leaders within the job function.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced Degree in a related field

Experience :

  • Minimum of eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience

  • Requires expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have deep knowledge of project management. Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and ability to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs or systems

Licenses & Certifications:

Working Conditions:

  • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
  • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position starts at $140,000.00 to $155,550.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.
