Vestas American Wind Technology Production Supervisor- Manufacturing in Windsor, Colorado

This position is responsible for leading employees who are building Wind Turbine Blades to ensure safety, quality, and delivery of products as well as provide coaching and performance management to the factory employees. This position will supervisor 20 -40 employees.

Shifts: Any candidate applying to this role could be required to work any of these shifts Days- Sunday, Monday, Tues, every other Wednesday Days- Every other Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Days- 2,2,3,3 - work 2, off 2, work 3, off 3 Days- 2,2,3,3 - off 2, work 2, work 3, work 3 Nights- Every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Nights- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday

In this role, the primary areas of responsibility will be: * Assure adequate workforce planning to achieve production goals* Implement and support self-managed teams * Guarantee the safety of your work area and team members by adhering to safety policies and procedures and requiring a safety mindset * Assure all products adhere to quality requirements through education, quality checks and quality measures * Collaborate with others in the organization to ensure you have what you need to meet takt times and delivery * Assure team members have the required tools and knowledge to meet demands * Ensure all team members have performance expectations set, 1:1 coaching and evaluations for performance, behaviors and development plans * Expected to meet and exceed all cost standards and continually challenge yourself to a leaner and lower cost for your area. Waste reduction is included * Relentlessly communicate both inward and outward to your team and the business * All other duties as assigned

For this position the right candidate should demonstrate: * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * College Education / Degree in related field preferred but not required. * Ability to work in teams with a high degree of adaptability & flexibility* Strong desire to learn new skills & knowledge * Excellent work ethic, dependability & dedication to team & company, personal desire & value to produce quality work * System skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, ERP / MRP systems, CRM database, etc. * Basic and applied knowledge of Lean/5S concepts * Understanding basic production work instructions * Analytical skills including trouble shooting, root cause analysis & problem solving * Conflict resolution and effective verbal & written communication skills, executed with respect, care and concern for colleagues. * Minimum travel may be required.

Salary range is $75,000-$95,000 USD annually depending on experience.
