You'll manage financial records, oversee multiple entities, and ensure accurate, timely payroll. Responsibilities:

  • Full Charge Bookkeeping: Manage financial records and processes for multiple entities. Prepare and analyze financial reports, perform reconciliations and journal entries, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulations. Utilize QuickBooks effectively.

  • Payroll: Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Process transactions, manage benefits, reconcile accounts, maintain employee records, and prepare reports. Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Monitor subsidiary accounts, manage GL accounts and files, communicate effectively, troubleshoot software, supervise payroll backup, reconcile transactions, calculate sales tax pre-payments, perform month-end closing, manage credit cards, audit accounts, supervise timing functions and cross-train staff, prepare government reports, and complete other CFO-assigned duties.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in full-charge bookkeeping or similar role.

  • Proven experience with payroll processing and tax regulations.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.

  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Familiarity with governmental accounting standards a plus.
