Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The LPN will be responsible for triaging calls, answering phones, handling prior authorizations, and assisting with stocking rooms. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possesses excellent multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
Triaging calls and providing appropriate guidance
Answering phones and addressing patient inquiries
Managing prior authorizations for medical procedures
Assisting with stocking rooms and ensuring they are well-equipped
Maintaining accurate medical records
Essential Skills
Current LPN license in the state
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Excellent multitasking skills
Knowledge of EMR Systems
Experience with triage and managed care
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Open to entry-level candidates
Strong healthcare and medical knowledge
Prior authorization experience
Work Environment
This role is based in a busy short-term care facility that serves 20-30 patients. You will work alongside other nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff. The schedule includes two shifts: Day Shift (7am-3pm) with every other weekend off and a $1/hr shift differential, and Second Shift (3pm-11pm) with every other weekend off and a $3/hr shift differential.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr.
