Note: The hourly rate for this position is $27 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Job Responsibilities:

  • Hours: Monday through Friday , 40 hour work week

  • Installing fire alarms for a new construction commercial jobsite located in Wilton CT.

  • Must have either has a L6 low voltage license or minimum 3rd year apprentice.

  • TOOLS: Hand tools i.e.Cutters, Volt Meter, Screw Driver

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current/Active Licensed CT Electrician License C6 or L6

  • Minimum 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice

  • OSHA Certification issued within the last 5 years or a willingness to obtain it

  • Perform tests and use the results to diagnose problems , for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multi-meter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve the appropriate course of action

  • References that will verify your professional skills and experience

  • Measuring, cutting, and bending wire and conduit using measuring instruments and hand tools

  • Performing semiskilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment

  • Following state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Prior experience in the commercial field preferred

  • Minimum two years of experience on commercial or residential construction sites

  • Prior experience using Standard electrical tools required

  • Position may require a drug screen
