Description What you will do: This position will be responsible for managing the production control booth for the heavy maintenance check package, associated tallies, work cards and updates to the WINGS database system. This individual will serve as the primary role to drive production priorities an ensure all parties involved follow the designed plan. When necessary, this person will provide alternative plans to flow the project during execution after identification of the critical path findings. In addition, this position will manage the project Gantt chart of execution for the project plan by providing updates with the daily progress and promoting visibility to the critical path findings progress. Adjusts the Return to Service (RTS) plan with the daily dynamics of the project execution. Performs other duties as assigned by the Director, or higher, as necessary. What you need: High School Diploma or GED Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance or repair station environment. 5 years' experience working as an A & P technician in a shop, line, or heavy maintenance environment with an Associate's degree, OR 3 years' experience working as an A & P technician in a shop, line or heavy maintenance environment and 3 years working as a Production Planner, Controller, Analyst, Specialist, or Coordinator on transport category aircraft in environments such as but not limited to, Planning, Reliability, Engineering, Maintenance Programs and Aircraft Records. Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations or repair station environment Proven ability to work with and lead others keeping the project team on task during stressful situations Capacity to work independently and make critical decisions without direct supervision Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software, sound knowledge of MS Project, and advanced Excel. Ability to use email. Planning and organizational skills to effectively multi-task Demonstrated ability to coach, persuade and problem solve with various levels of employees, management and customers to resolve conflict and maintain the success of the project Working knowledge of FAA and Federal Aviation Regulations pertaining to 14 CFR Part 145 repair station operations and aircraft/component OEM manuals.
