We'reseekingcompassionate and patient drivennursesto join ourSurgical Iteam!Ourunitcomprisesof43beds with9 beingpost-surgical stepdown.We havea nurse-to-patient ratio averaging5:6 and 3:1 in stepdown.Given the highmodality of thecases we handle, our nursing team isclosely connected, offering support within the workplace. Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

  • Associate's or Bachelor'sdegree in nursing.

  • Current valid North Carolina nursing license required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American HeartAssociationrequired.

  • 1yearof acute nursing experience,required.

  • 2Yearsofmed-surgorcritical careexperience in an acute hospitalsetting,preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course isrequiredprior to reactivating or reinstating your license.In order tobe considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized care andmonitorpatients closely. 

  • Work with healthcare teams to develop care plans for patients. 

  • Manage complex conditions and perform necessary procedures. 

  • Respond quickly to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions. 

  • Educate patients and families on care and treatment options. 

  • Accurately document patient information and care interventions in medical records.
