Novant Health PRN Clinical Pharmacist - Evenings in Wilmington, North Carolina
Job Summary
We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to primarily support the central pharmacy with product verification and dispensing. This role also includes direct patient care responsibilities and oversight of sterile compounding activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support central pharmacy by verifying and dispensing medications.
Perform direct patient care tasks, including:
Order verification
Identifying and addressing therapeutic problems as appropriate
Rotate through the IV center to oversee sterile compounding activities, ensuring safe and effective care for inpatient populations.
Ensure medication safety and appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Requirements:
Availability for evening shifts, with occasional nightshift coverage as part of rotation.
Availability for weekend and holiday rotations.

Qualifications
Education: 4 Year/Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy. Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification, required. Doctorate of Pharmacy, preferred.
Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy, preferred.
Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification, Preferred.
Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
