Actalent FPGA Engineer in Wilmington, North Carolina

PCB Designer- Remote (ALTIUM)

Remote position with <25% travel to Wilmington, NC

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly skilled FPGA Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will excel in FPGA design using SystemVerilog and possess skills in schematic capture and PCB layout. You will be working on the design of Small Modular Reactors, contributing both to the design and verification of hardware.

Responsibilities

  • Design FPGA systems using SystemVerilog

  • Perform schematic capture and PCB layout

  • Create new designs from provided requirements specifications

  • Verify the work of others

  • Debug hardware issues

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA design

  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog

  • Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout

  • Capability to start immediately and produce SystemVerilog code

  • Hardware verification and debugging skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Xilinx hardware

  • Ability to spell and understand PCB and schematic capture processes

Work Environment

You will be part of a dynamic team focused on designing cutting-edge small modular reactors. The position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The work environment includes the use of advanced hardware and software tools to achieve design and verification tasks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00
