Job Summary

The Clinical Research Quality Assurance/Education Coordinator is a clinical research professional working under the direction of the Supervisor Clinical Research Quality Assurance/Education to ensure quality assurance activities and staff education involving NH Clinical Research studies across the system are met. The coordinator must be dedicated to excellence in all aspects of clinical research with a keen focus on ethics, safety, quality, compliance, and stewardship. This is an onsite position requiring travel to different markets.

Qualifications

  • Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.

  • Experience:

  • Three years of Healthcare experience, required.

  • Two years of Clinical Research experience, required.

  • One year of Oncology experience, preferred.

  • Licensure/Certification:

  • RN, preferred.

  • Clinical Research Certification, preferred.

  • Additional Skills Required:

  • If an RN, current RN License in appropriate state. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred, nursing education or a healthcare related field preferred (clinical research, science, healthcare education or related field).

  • Research certification preferred, SOCRA, ACRP, RAPS or equivalent. Qualified candidates without a research certification must earn certification within 18 months in the role.

  • Working knowledge of current and future trends in clinical research practice; regulatory and governing standards, as well as policies and procedures.

  • Thorough understanding of information systems and software (Microsoft Office, tele/videoconferencing systems, Clinical Trial Management System, Electronic Data Capture Systems, Electronic Medical Record systems).

  • Good grasp on the principles of adult learning and teaching methods/models with the ability to apply knowledge to effective teaching practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven written, presentation and verbal competencies.

  • Astute attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and timelines.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as with teams to achieve department goals and objectives.

  • Capacity to provide own transportation to clinics, hospitals, and agencies as required.

  • Additional Skills Preferred: Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Subjects Training, and International Air Transportation Association (IATA) certification for shipping hazardous and biological substances.
