As part of our end to end innovation framework in strategic growth and ventures group, we are seeking an Agile coach and scrum master who can provide training, workshops and coaching of teams on Agile adapted to a non-software environment.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Create and delivers Agile training for business and technology leaders and team members.
Coach and act as a scrum master for new product (non-software) development teams.
Developing Product Owners (team leaders) and coaching on backlog development and prioritization.
Working collaboratively with team leaders and cross-functional development teams to accelerate product development.
Developing new Scrum Masters, Product Owners/ team leaders, & Development Teams.
Assisting in rolling out the Scrum framework to the larger organization.
The following are required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Technical; or equivalent work experience.
Hands-on Certified Scrum Master (PSM or CSM) with at least 5 years as an Agile practitioner/Scrum Master/Coach, with non-software experience.
Experience working with an agile mindset on technically complex projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
Experience communicating across an organization.
Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate.
Interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
Be confident, self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and be team-oriented.
Experience with other agile frameworks, ex. Lean Innovation or Design Thinking.
· Experience with front-end innovation, R&D, or new product development
· Experience with customer-facing solution delivery (ex. technical service, application development, etc.)
· Experience with project management (Agile or stage-gate)
· Connection to business, marketing, or strategic aspects of new product development
Nice to have:
· Experience with change management and implementation
· Experience in a start-up environment
· Experience in global work environment or with remote teams
