Sargent & Lundy Electrical Engineering Intern (Summer 2025) - Nuclear Projects in Wilmington, Delaware

As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will be assigned to work on a project team and assist the engineering team members in the execution of their project work. These projects may involve the design of newand/or modifications and upgrades to existing power plant systems, components, and structures.
Working under the direction of senior engineers, this position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in Electrical Engineering in one or more of the following areas:
Assist in the preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
Work on a variety of tasks associated with project reporting, such as tracking and evaluating project activities, project progress, and associated data.
Be involved in power distribution designs and the preparation of specifications for the procurement of major electrical power equipment and related installation services.
Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:
Must be actively enrolled in a BSEE or MSEE engineering program from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program with a strong academic background and coursework
Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong PC skills
Valued but not required skills and experience:
Prior, related internship or co-op experience is preferred
An understanding of the practical application of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and technology, including applying systems, principles, techniques, and procedures to a project design
