Description

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

The UI/UX Designer will be a member of the Digital Innovation Team that will accelerate innovation for DuPont Businesses and Functions through human-centered design principles for delivery of world-class solutions using technologies and techniques such as Machine Learning, IoT, forecasting, and visualization. This role will report directly to the UI/UX Design Lead.

Your keyresponsibilities:

  • Conductresearch and synthesize results to generate insights from interviews, heuristicanalysis, and surveys

  • Createpersonas, storyboards, and journey maps to document design requirements andcommunicate design, rationale, and decisions supporting UI/UX collaboration

  • Designand build new product user interfaces from wireframes / mock-ups / prototypesto MVPs for digital products, iterating with human-centered design principles

  • Partnerwith cross-functional teams to create intuitive interfaces that address userand business needs

  • Utilizeagile to deliver innovative solutions alongside scrum team of developers anddata scientists

  • Research / synthesis

  • Creation of personas, storyboards,and journey maps

  • UI/UX design(wireframes, mock-ups, etc.)

  • Cross-disciplinary team collaboration

  • Written and verbal communicationskills

Qualifications

Your qualification profile:

  • BS Degree in user experience, human-computer interaction, graphicdesign, or equivalent

  • 2-5+ years of relevant work experience in a design role

  • Demonstrated knowledge of human-centered design principles

  • Experience conducting research and synthesizing results

  • Ability to communicate and articulate user needs as specific designrequirements

  • Expertise with interactive design tools (e.g. Sketch, Invision,Axure, etc.)

  • Strong communication experience withmulti-disciplinary teams
