Director, Corporate FP&A and Systems Administration

The Director, Corporate FP&A and Systems Administration , will be responsible for annual planning (Budget), monthly and quarterly forecasting processes (consolidation, internal reporting), 5 year financial strategic plan, business analysis, restructuring, group accounting and financial support for the organization (commercial, operations, purchasing, integrated supply chain, IT, engineering, etc). This role supports monthly management reporting process, variance analysis, presentation materials; provide clear and concise insightful analytics for transparency to drive business decisions.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual with a background in finance or other related field. This role will work directly with the VP, FP&A, and the business segment controllers. The role will also manage the financial systems administration team. We are looking for candidates with demonstrated strong analytical experience and an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/areas of responsibilities efficiently and accurately. This role will mentor the corporate FP&A staff and grow the overall FP&A function within the organization.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Review consolidated field / corporate budget, forecasts, and actuals

  • Review Board and Corporate reporting packages

  • Identify variances and provide commentary on drivers

  • Enforce defined policies and procedures

  • Oversee systems implementation project and be point person with outside implementation partners

  • Lead systems administration team

  • Monitor and analyze organizational budgets and perform periodic planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting for the entire corporate office

  • Track synergies for acquisitions, along with internal company savings analysis and tracking

  • Develop key performance indicators measuring the financial health of the organization, assigned units, functions and customer relationships.

  • Review past and current financial performance against budgeted estimates and develop models that assist management in understanding the financial impact of business decisions.

  • Recommend and track strategies to assist the organization in meeting long-term financial objectives.

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to better understand, explain, and influence financial performance

  • Report actual financial results against targets, provide variance analysis, assist in guidance on future trends, and present findings to Finance leadership

  • Evaluate and develop financial models to help drive strategic business decisions and identify opportunities to optimize outcomes

  • Support ad hoc projects and strategic initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required. Major in Accounting or Finance. MBA or CPA highly preferred

  • 7+ years progressive financial experience. Broad background in all aspects of financial planning and analysis

  • Strong cost accounting and variance analysis background.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel), OneStream, and SAP

  • Experience leading implementations for Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems

  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication/presentation skills and overall business acumen required

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision as well as highly organized

  • Solid project management and problem-solving capabilities

  • Demonstrated results in improving processes and developing financial analysis that provides business insight

  • Partners with the leadership team to build a climate that energizes the team and drives accountability and demonstrated personal commitment to Customer Satisfaction

  • Optimize key financial processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency in personal responsibilities

  • Ability to work well in a dynamic and complex environment and on cross functional teams

  • Provide guidance and team development for direct reports as needed

  • Ability to travel, if required to support the business
