Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant position plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the HR Systems department.
Responsibilities include :
Running and processing daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
General department administration such as:
attendance tracking and weekly department timesheet submissions
ordering supplies and processing expenses
monitoring HR systems shared email
handling department mail
organize department functions
maintaining the HR Systems SharePoint site
updating department forms, when necessary
Other ongoing projects include:
process changes in systems: rate changes, job code changes, transfers, RTW forms, promotions and demotions
assist Supervisor and HR Systems Administrator with special projects
configure and maintain system tables
serve as a backup to team, when necessary
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Strong organizational skills
Ability to efficiently prioritize work on multiple projects with various deadlines
Strong attention to details
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with an emphasis on Excel
Experience using PeopleSoft HRIS system a strong plus
2+ years’ experience in an office setting or similar role
