Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description
Assist the engineering team and production in developing parts, brackets, test fixtures, and more.
Perform systems documentation and process parts while ensuring compliance with governmental regulations and requirements, including all certifications. Review, interpret, and execute all regulations and specifications required by customers.
Coordinate with customers on Source Inspections, FAIs, and Government Source Inspectors.
Provide technical support to engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams.
Report audit findings to management and develop plans for corrective action.
Evaluate and design workflow processes.
Develop programs and processes, diagnose mechanical failures, determine solutions, and make necessary repairs.
Hard Skills
4+ years experience programming CMM/CNC (up to 4-axis)
Previous NPI experience (new product introduction)
Experience managing projects from start to finish
Solidworks proficiency
Bachelor's degree or applicable experience
Experience from a machining company
Work Environment
This role will mainly be spent on the manufacturing floor. Day-to-day tasks include developing the program, working with operators, developing a process all the way through, then turning the part over to production. Tasks also include making fixtures, conducting trial runs, documenting them into the system, performing qualification runs, and finally submitting to the customer. The role involves running up to 3 new parts/projects at a time
