Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer in Williamsburg, VA.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you’ll do:
Job Summary
The Sr. Quality Engineer is responsible for quality processes related to design and manufacturing of Marine and RV applications This employee will also be responsible for quality management system requirements, APQP/PPAP processes, internal reporting of quality metrics, and customer product warranty support
Job Responsibilities
• Develop digital Non-conforming material handling process
• Internal audit support, Layered and Fresh eyes audits.
• Internal action reporting using Benchmark Software
• Responsible to help the site adhear to Eaton Quality Management System and ISO9001
• Understanding and implementing measurement systems including MSA/SPC requirements
• Understand quality aspects of Eaton products and integrate with marina and RV product offerings.
• Structured problem solving A3/8D/5Why internal and external
• Work with engineering on control plan development, FMEA, PFMEA
• Coordinate with other functions (supply chain, design and manufacturing) to meet customer expectations
• Help support quality aspects of designing new product development ideas and prototypes including developing validation plans.
• Responsible for change control - MOC/Enovia software/Temporary changes and deviations.
• Responsible for any quality alerts internal or external HSCQE.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 7-10 years Engineering function experience preferred
• CQE certification preferred
