Job Description:

  • Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business I

  • Independently search for information using internal tools and the internet; perform independent verification of insured's operations

  • Review and process change requests on in-force policies

  • Ensure underwriting quality and profitability through thorough analysis of risk exposure consistent with company appetite

  • Contribute to and foster a results-oriented culture that drives business growth and a delightful customer experience

  • Willingness to support additional customer service responsibilities including, but not limited to: billing discrepancy resolution, and reporting, answering and responding to customer inquiries, supporting cross-channel quote and purchase flows, and ensuring a delightful and positive customer experience

  • Flexibility to adapt in a constantly changing start-up environment, including changes to technology, underwriting guidelines and appetite, compliance and regulation considerations, business strategies and corporate standards.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and Proven analytical skills with the ability to operate with ambiguity and escalate items as necessary

  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and multi-task towards an elevated customer experience.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with special attention to details

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with co-workers and customers

  • Self-starter capable of learning new skills and technologies in a rapidly changing environment

  • Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
