Geisinger Clinic Physician, Hospitalist - multiple positions in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania
Physician, Hospitalist (multiple) sought by Geisinger Clinic to provide patient care in Wilkes-Barre, PA. REQ: M.D. or foreign equivalent; completion of 36 months of medical residency training in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine; passage of USMLE 1, 2, and 3; and must have or be eligible for PA Medical License. Support the clinical efforts of primary and specialty care physicians for hospitalized patients. Conduct history and physical exams on admitted patients, perform daily rounds, conduct consultations, and perform discharge examinations prior to a patients release. Duties also include preparing documentation as it pertains to the case of the patient. Full-time; 26 weeks/year; Fourteen 12-hour shifts per month; 7 days on and 7 days off.
