Serve as a Human resource Assistant providing recruitment and placement support services to Human Resource Specialists.
Assists in recruitment activities by arranging for physical examinations, verifying veterans? preference, making job offers, coordinator EOD/release dates and processing pre-appointment security checks.
Responds to customer inquiries on such matters as procedures for filing applications, status of recruitment announcements, kinds of vacancies in the organization serviced and hiring procedures and announcements.
Utilize HR automated systems to query, retrieve, analyze information in order to process and complete assignments.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. One year of specialized experience which includes maintaining human resource case files. Ensuring documentation is in compliance with established guidelines and procedures. Coordinating pre-employment requirements to include, scheduling physical examinations, verifying veterans' preference, and coordinating start dates. Respond to customer inquiries on matters relating to Human Resources. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
