An exciting opportunity for anAccountManager within Dow'sEMEAI DOW CONSTRUCTION CHEMICALS (DCC) Sales Teamcould be the right choice for you! This position has apreferred location in Germany, but open to other countries in Western Europe.

You will be part of theDCC EMEAI SALES TEAM, primarily focusing onStrategic Customers.You will manage the sales of medium to large accounts Key Customers inEMEAI and Globally, with the main objective to grow in alignment to the DCC strategy and sales target. You will be responsible for developing strategic plans to grow business relationships and ensuringhigh customer experience (CXi) scores.

We are looking for someone who isenergetic, agile, proactive, and has a high bias for action.The ability to establish trust, credibility and buildstrong relationshipswith cross functional and cross Business contacts at assigned accounts is a must. This should be coupled with outstandingnegotiating skillsto secure and accelerate top line growth and profitability improvement at major key customers.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Manages account portfolio and prepares and implement Key Account Plans.

  • Leads and conducts negotiations, implements price changes, and develops short, middle, and long-term collaboration focus on sustainable solutions for these customers and for Dow.

  • Leads and coordinates customer relationships working to understand customer needs and identifying potential new clients.

  • Manages sales contracts following Dow guidelines and legal requirements according to each region and country.

  • Executes and implements sales and marketing plans and delivering business goals of volume and value.

  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders, including R&D, Marketing, Demand, Product, Customer service, and Supply Chain to achieve the targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably technical background.

  • Native in German and fluent English, strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Spanish, Italian and French is a plus.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical/sales/commercial related positions.

  • Experience using OMP, Smart Price, DSR, CRM, and other Commercial Dow applications.

  • Ability to work in multi-cultural and multi-functional environment. Inclusive mindset.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing key & complex accounts and driving sales growth.

  • Strong understanding of Key Account Management, market dynamics and competitive landscape.

  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Additonal notes

  • Up to 40% travel required for this position.

  • Relocation support will not be provided.
