The Opportunity

The Digital Health Solution Executive (m/f/d) works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) within the Core Laboratory Division and will be responsible for promoting, presenting, and driving the selling of consulting services and IT engagements within the DACH region that enable health care providers to drive cost efficiencies, operational productivity, and improve the quality of patient care delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Leading the development and presentation of proposals to sell and deliver client engagements that design and implement business and technology solutions for medium to large healthcare providers.

  • Supporting implementation and overseeing the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance, acts as a trusted advisor to the customer.

  • Serving as SME for industry trends, changing market regulations and healthcare policy within defined customer segment.

  • Building and preserving customer relationships to drive new sales and protect base business.

  • Developing a healthy and credible opportunity pipeline both for new projects and value expansions by understanding and identifying customer needs

  • Negotiating contracts resulting in long-term commitments and managing the process from quotation to contract.

  • Integrating insights from ongoing business analysis and assessment into a multi-year plan

  • Coordinating appropriate Abbott resources to execute the strategic account plan including assigning roles; expectations; responsibilities and timelines.

  • Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical, life sciences or medical technology is preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience selling services within a consultancy firm preferred.

  • Proven track record in Pre-Sales, Sales and/or Business Development Experience in the Hospital, E-Health, Outpatient Care or Diagnostics

  • Expertise in IT technology within Hospital, Outpatient Care, E-Health and Insurance Environment and understanding on how technology drives value in healthcare.

  • Strong understanding on how technology drives value in healthcare preferred supported by basis knowledge.

  • Experience with building business on current accounts and creating new profitable accounts.

  • Good relationship building skills with excellent consulting skills.

  • Service-driven, commercially minded.

  • Support in the development and presentation.

  • Fluency in German and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references.

  • IT-Consulting experience preferred.

  • Strong Diagnostics experience preferred.
