Job Title: Field Service Technician (Local Travel)
Pay: $30-$37
Job Description
The Field Service Technician will travel to customer sites for all preventative and reactive maintenance on various types of machinery including Dust Collectors, Conveyor Systems, and Control Panels. This role primarily involves electrical maintenance, with some mechanical maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Perform 75% electrical maintenance and 25% mechanical maintenance.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct equipment electrical problems and take corrective action.
Replace fuses, circuit breakers, electrical switches, and other electrical equipment.
Install motor starters, variable frequency drives, and disconnects.
Mechanically troubleshoot and repair drives and gearboxes.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
Document all repairs and communicate with clients in a professional manner.
Essential Skills
2+ years of electrical maintenance experience (industrial/manufacturing).
Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance experience with 480v and multi-meter.
PLC and control panel troubleshooting experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley).
Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing VFDs, limit switches, and circuit breakers.
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints.
Ability to operate scissor lift and/or boom lift.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Physical ability to lift 50lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with 230v DC is preferred.

Work Environment
The Field Service Technician will work a shift from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm with overtime as needed. On-call duties are required once every 6 weeks, with additional compensation. Initially based out of Wickliffe, the technician will receive a company truck after training and will travel within a 100-mile radius of Cleveland. The work environment varies from client to client, including different climates, cleanliness, lighting conditions, and odors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
