Responsibilities
Direct the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and strategies.
Organize operations to provide high quality, cost effective services. Model leadership and teaming excellence by providing appropriate advice and counsel to staff to improve effectiveness.
Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of services to meet all productivity plans.
Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing OR diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.Master's degree OR combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
Work Experience:
5 years of experience required.
10 years of experience preferred.
2 years of leadership or management experience required.
5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
Bachelors in Nursing required, Masters preferred
Experience in outpatient and inpatient clinical departments (to include wound, vascular access) preferred
