We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team and ensure the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our process facility equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and maintenance practices, with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement reliability strategies for critical equipment and systems, including:
Process tanks
Chemical milling recovery and recycling systems
Industrial water treatment and reverse osmosis (RO) processing units
Chain and conveyor systems
Automated cranes
Paint systems
Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions
Perform reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) analysis to optimize maintenance strategies
Develop and maintain equipment reliability metrics and KPIs
Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to improve equipment uptime and efficiency
Implement predictive and preventive maintenance programs
Manage and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Lead rapid repair initiatives for critical equipment failures
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited program is required (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical engineering preferred)
5+ years of experience in reliability engineering or related field, preferably in a process or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles and practices
Familiarity with industrial equipment and systems, including pumps, valves, motors, and control systems
Experience with root cause analysis and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Knowledge of PLC systems, particularly Allen Bradley, is a plus
Preferred Skills
Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or similar professional certification
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
Knowledge of industrial water treatment and chemical processing systems
Experience with automated material handling systems and cranes
