Job Description:

Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: Landscape or maintain grounds of property. Perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: Gather and remove litter. Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans. Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders. Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls. Follow planned landscaping designs to determine where to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage. Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds. Attach wires from planted trees to support stakes. Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs, and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools. Mow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edgers. Rake, mulch, and compost leaves. Decorate gardens with stones or plants. Use irrigation methods to adjust the amount of water consumption and to prevent waste. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters, burial sites, or other grounds features. Maintain irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems and starting them up in spring. Plan or cultivate lawns or gardens. Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings, greenhouses, fences, or benches, using hand or power tools. Care for turf fields, periodically removing the turf and replacing cushioning pads or vacuuming and disinfecting the turf after use to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. Install rock gardens, ponds, decks, drainage systems, irrigation systems, retaining walls, fences, planters, or playground equipment. Advise customers on plant selection or care. Haul or spread topsoil or spread straw over seeded soil to hold soil in place. Build forms and mix and pour cement to form garden borders. On the job training.

Job Requirements: Lift 15 lbs, Must be able to work outside and walk long distances daily.

Work hours & days: Approximately 44+hrs/wk, 7a 4:30p, M Fri, some Sat required. Hours and workdays may vary depending on weather.

Pay rate: \$17.96/hr; \$26.94/hr OT

Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker, at the employers sole discretion, based on work performance, skill, or tenure. Workdays may begin/end earlier or later on any given day depending on season demands or weather conditions. Workers may be requested to work additional hours, weekends, holidays, and the Sabbath depending on need. Employer will make all deductions required by law. Other deductions may be taken at employee\'s w itten request, i.e., internet, cable, cash advances, medical expenses, etc. Employer will reimburse H2B workers in the first workweek all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government. Tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties provided at no charge. Employer will offer the worker employment for a total number of work hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays of each 12-week period, if the period of employment covered by the job order is 120 or more days, or each 6-week period, if the period of employment covered by the job order is less than 120 days. At the sole discretion of the employer, workers may be required to submit to a post hire drug test, paid by the employer. Positive results or refusal to take the test may result in immediate termination. Any worker found to have a criminal conviction, DWI, commits serious acts of misconduct, refuses to follow instructions, violates work rules, fails to perform job duties in a competent manner, or other lawful job-related reasons will be subject to termination. Workers who have a clean driving record and insurable driver\'s license may be required to drive company vehicles.
