Job Purpose and Impact
The Associate Marketing Manager will craft and execute a channel marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and profitable growth with non-commercial foodservice customers. In this role, you will partner with marketing & innovation and sales teams to establish business plans and marketing opportunities to enable an outstanding customer experience to deliver valuable offerings for customers and prospects.
Plan, execute and measure marketing strategies, promotions and annual plans for a customer or specific channels to implement product line and sales objectives.
In collaboration with the sales and marketing team and sales leadership, align marketing initiatives with channel value propositions, plans, and goals and ensure marketing offerings support the customer.
Act as a project manager ensuring seamless and timely execution of key customer or channel initiatives based on priorities established through the business planning process.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of customer priorities to help identify areas where additional customer profitability and brand growth can be achieved.
Gather, synthesize, and communicate consumer and industry trends to drive team knowledge and understanding and develop insight-led customer presentations
Evaluate and modify marketing programs and tactics based on business impact
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business related or equivalent experience
Minimum of four years of related work experience
Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver timely projects within budget guidelines
Experience engaging directly with customers with a positive impact
Able to Travel up to 20%
Experience in Food Service or other related B2B marketing area
Experience executing consumer, channel or customer specific campaigns and promotions and projects
Experience developing strategic marketing plans that generated customer growth
