James Lane Air Conditioning Co., LLC, a Fidelity Company located in Wichita Falls, TX, is looking for an HVAC installation technician to join our growing team!

An HVAC Install Technician is responsible for the installation of HVAC systems in compliance with company standards while providing the client with a high-quality experience. These include HVAC/R equipment, duct systems, fittings, grilles, registers, diffusers, controls, and related equipment.

An ideal candidate will have general mechanical experience, adaptability in a fast-paced work environment, and provide feedback and suggestions on improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing customer satisfaction. They will have the ability to prioritize, close attention to detail, and maintain a high level of customer service, responsiveness, and professional business acumen.

Primary Duties:

• Follow defined installation procedures for HVAC/R equipment according to company instructions/policy, manufacturer installation instructions, salesperson notes, and if applicable per instructions of the Lead HVAC Install Technician.
• Identify and solve problems that might prevent the completion of work within budgeted time.
• Complete repairs, improvements, or installations within budgeted hours, in accordance with company standards, while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Start up new equipment and verify correct operation.
• Acquire sufficient knowledge, skills, training, and information to achieve peak performance, continuous improvement, potential advancement, and a positive, productive work environment consistent with company goals and objectives.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, co-workers, subcontractors, and others.

Qualifications:

• One or more years of general mechanical experience with the willingness to learn and receive training.
• Ability to follow and perform installation procedures for HVAC/R Equipment and troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to follow controls/wiring schematic.
• Ability to braze/solder/weld and perform minor field fabrication.
• Ability to safely use ladders in the performance of job duties including climbing and descending from a ladder.
• Always maintain a professional attitude.
