Restaurant Depot Assistant Controller in Whitestone, New York
Jetro / Restaurant Depot is seeking an energetic Assistant Controller to join the growing Accounting department in the corporate office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company and expanding accounting department.
Job functions include but not limited to:
Coordinates monthly close and preparation of financial statements
Ensures all General Ledger accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis
Monitor balance sheet review, account reconciliations and variances between current year results to last year to budget
Verify daily cash, check & credit deposits to POS system
Sales tax audit assistance and filings
Assist in year end closing and interaction with outside auditors & tax preparers
-Special projects for the CFO & COO
Requirements
3-5 years ACCOUNTING level experience
Bachelor's degree (Accounting major) required
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Information: $23.00-$25.00
