The Material Testing Coordinator is a first shift position within Whitehall Casting Operation and will be responsible for the following:
Maintaining, expediting, and documenting master heat qualification testing through various processes to meet the customer delivery requirements and HWC commitments
Reviews nonconforming test materials for cause and corrective action
Monitors the qualification processes to identify areas for improvements and cost reduction
Provides support to Process Owners as required
Provides backup for certification, shipping, and other Process Owner functions as required
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years continuous work experience post high school.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Good oral and written communication skills are a must.
Must be PC literate in Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with LIMS, Teamcenter, and Microsoft Outlook is preferred.
Previous work history working in a manufacturing environment.
