Role: Associate Cloud Engineer  - Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementation, and maintenance of DevOps tools and processes to support continuous integration and continuous Cloud deployment (CI / CD) pipelines.

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate manual processes and improve the efficiency of Cloud Applications.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and performance of the Cloud applications, services and systems.

  • Assist in the management of cloud-based infrastructure and services using platforms such as AWS.

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of scripts and automation tools.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps practices and tools.

  • Work closely with the Developers, and SDETs team members and contribute as part of the given Sprint cycles..

  • Create and Maintain comprehensive internal documents, and accurate bug report descriptions.

  • Help to recreate and troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release/ post-implementation.

  • Leverage the automation framework for automating feature tests and propose changes or enhancements to the framework to enable the feature validations.

  • Joint ownership and accountability for the product quality and release.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering –  B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes and tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, and Terraform is an additional plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in DevOps practices using CI/CD tools like Jenkins.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Cybersecurity experience in the form of certificate programs and/or as electives during academics is an added advantage.

    Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40
