TOWNSEND RANCH LLC Farmworker in WHITE SULPHUR SPR, Montana
Temporary full time from 1/1/2025 to 10/31/2025 Job duties include feeding cows with tractor and haybuster in March and April; farming in May; operating a sprayer, tractor and air seeder in May; in June employees will be operating a tractor and baler or tractor and swather or tractor and rake; employees will also be checking center pivot, checking nozzles on center pivots, and keeping maintenance on center pivots in June; July they will continue checking pivots and stacking hay bales; the month of August they will be turning off pivots so crops will mature, starting winter wheat harvest, starting yellow pea harvest, operating sprayer for fall spraying, and operating tractor and air drills for seeding; the month of September employees will be malt barley harvesting, finishing yellow pea harvest, and canola harvest. Custom cutters come in so the employees will primarily be operating the auger to put grain in the grain bins. At the end of September, October, and November the employees will be cleaning up machinery to put away for fall, fencing pastures, and moving cows. Employees will also operate farm equipment including but not limited to air drills, hay processor, semi truck, front end loader, and Bi-Directional loader/tractor. Manual duties include physically driving to and from center pivots to check for leaks; turning off/on pivots; turning around center pivots; checking and replacing sprayer nozzles; driving machinery during the spring and summer; and hiking fence lines of the pastures to fix fences. Daily duties may vary depending on crop, weather, and field conditions. Pay increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
