The anticipated salary range for this role is between $120,000.00 and $173,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.
Responsibilities
Provide expertise in SAP Analytics solutions, primarily on SAP Analytics Cloud but may include SAP BusinessObjects BI platform, BW/4HANA, S/4 Embedded Analytics, HANA EDW and Predictive Analytics.
Provide expertise in SAP Success Factors story reports and reporting center for all modules.
Provide expertise in Qualtrics survey tool - a plus
Design and implement SAP Analytics architecture, including data modeling and development
Partner with the Reporting and Analytics HR function, HR IT and Implementation Partner to ensure alignment for data usage across processes and stakeholders
Partner with a small team of analysts that develop reports and analytics using approved tools, templates and methods
Ensure data governance policies are met and that data is available, accurate, and compliant, including, monitoring, and auditing quality, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations
Lead all aspects of the development and implementation of standard dashboards and reports roadmap Build pipelines to our data lake / data warehouse
Leverage knowledge of data warehouse and software development methodologies to contribute to the overall planning of projects by recommending approaches, identifying resources, developing timelines and resource estimates
Understand and document business requirements; analyze existing and/or new information and applications; propose potential solutions; and execute selected technology solutions
Facilitate consistent adoption of best practices, policies, and standards.
Role Description
Manage the day-to-day maintenance of HRIS platforms by unifying employee data into a system or systems and continually verify its integrity. Manage configurations, permissions, access, systems operations and settings for HRIS users. Work with third-party vendors to process new software releases and recommend internal changes as needed.
Role Objectives: Delivery
Manage the day-to-day maintenance of HRIS platform(s) by unifying employee data into a single system (or multiple systems) and continually verify its integrity. Manage and/or monitor configurations, permissions, access, systems operations and settings for HRIS users. Program system customization (as needed) to accommodate firm / business line requirements. Work with third-party vendors to process new software releases and to recommend internal changes as needed. Develop supporting documentation, guidelines, desktop procedures, etc. Develop reporting and/or dashboards (headcount of new hires, exits, transfers, spans of control, levels across the company, etc.) and ad-hoc analytics. Protect privacy and data security by ensuring accuracy of data entry, system changes, etc. and/or self-auditing processing, and policies.
Role Objectives: Interpersonal
Build business-line relationships to understand business requirements, drive adoption of new and/or self-service systems and deliver extraordinary client service. Partner across HR functions, including mobility, compensation, benefits, and HR business partners, to solicit feedback, demonstrate a commitment to the user experience and build a system environment that supports a wide variety of requirements. Work closely with other functions including data governance, compliance and audit to protect the overall integrity and security of data.
Role Objectives: Expertise
Utilize experience, training, credentials, certifications and/or education (i.e., B.A./B.S.) to maintain credibility with business line(s) and the general workforce. Demonstrate a strong understanding of continuous improvement tools, methodologies and HRIS systems to effectively manage HRIS accountabilities. Apply advanced technical acumen (Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Tableau, etc.) and manipulation of large data sets / databases (i.e.. Python) to improve data efficiencies and support large-scale production of HRIS analytics. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) regarding full cycle implementation HRIS initiatives and/or strategic projects. Demonstrate a strong understanding of applicable employment / labor laws, regulations and data privacy requirements to ensure full compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to independently articulate & define analytics solutions being used by all levels of the organization.
Ability to lead or participate in business sessions to identify and document analytic use cases .
Delivery oriented with the ability to structure the project and deliverables/manage project teams.
Expert experience in SAP Analytics Cloud/Digital Boardroom with multiple project implementations.
Experience with Business Intelligence solutions using SAP BusinessObjects / SAP NetWeaver BW or SAP HANA platforms a plus
Experience with gathering business requirements related to enterprise reporting, KPIs, metrics and dashboards
Experience designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets
Data Extraction and Loading from the source system to the target data marts / data warehouse used for reporting
Technical skills in SQL, Database (SQL) knowledge, database management, business intelligence, enterprise performance management, data mining, systems administration
7+ years of years of relevant work experience in analytics, data engineering, business intelligence, statistical analysis, or related field
Minimum of 5+ years of previous experience working across a range of implementations, upgrade and migration projects
Expert using Excel for data analysis and modeling
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, related technical field, or equivalent work experience
