Mechanical MaintenanceTechnician Cartersville,GA 30120 1st Shift 6:00AM-6:30PM or 2nd Shift 6:00PM or 6:30AM Available Pay: $24.00 Utility Maintenance Mechanical Technician is responsible for mechanical Maintenance service and repair in the areas of Utility Facility Dept. Responsibilities
+2 years of cognitive and vocational experience in handling machine and machine parts
strong knowledge of the mechanical maintenance process
Critical thinking ability to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning
Discipline to execute tasks without procrastination
Excellent time management skills and execute all orders and/or demands in a timely manner
Ability to handle basic tools
Ability to lift 50 pounds repetitively and without assistance
strong knowledge of safety precautions
Ability to illustrate general maintenance requisite and simple procedures for operation on various pumps including reciprocating, centrifugal, vane, and etc.
Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate-controlled
Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player
The essential functions of this role include:
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
