Job Description
Shuttle Bus Driver
At The Fairmont Chateau Whistler our Shuttle Bus Driver's ensure that our guests have a seamless and effortless trip to Whistler Village. This position is an integral part of our winter operations and our Guest Services team.
We are looking for candidates who are able to start in April/May 2024.
Pay Rate:
$20.50 per hour

What you will be doing:
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Safely transport the hotel guests to and from the village
Proper maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel shuttle bus
Assist the Doors Attendants at the Front Door when not occupied
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Previous Shuttle Driving experience is an asset
A valid Class 4 driver’s license is MANDATORY (A Class 4 Unrestricted license allows drivers to operate commercial vehicles including buses with a maximum seating capacity of 25 persons)
A clean driving record is required
The ability to drive standard transmission vehicles is mandatory
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of Whistler area and Chateau Whistler Resort is an asset
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50+ lbs
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
