Job Description
Stewarding Attendant - Dishwasher
Do you have a heart to serve and love being part of a team? As a Dishwasher, you will assist in the execution of memorable food and beverage experiences for our guests.
We are looking for candidates to start throughout March-May 2024.
Pay Rate:
$19.00 per hour

What you will be doing:
Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces in the kitchen spaces
Responsible for keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction
Responsible of the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment
Responsible for the upkeep of dish and silverware
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Understanding of food safety and hygiene
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate (both can be completed upon the commencement of employment)
Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean abstract is required
Physical aspects include but are not limited to:
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50+ lbs
Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Additional Information
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
