GeoStabilization International Licensing and Contracts Compliance Specialist in Westminster, Colorado

Overview

The Licensing and Contracts Compliance Specialist oversees compliance efforts including licensing and pre-qualification processes across the organization. This position will work closely with their team and plays a critical role in ensuring that the company operates within the boundaries of applicable licensing laws and regulations. They contribute to the company's reputation, legal compliance, and overall success.

Responsibilities

  • Process all incoming Contract request and track them in Smartsheet.

  • Evaluate and process change orders, ensure proper documentation, and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.

  • Address and resolve contract-related disputes, working closely with project managers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to find equitable solutions.

  • Maintain open and clear communication with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure everyone is aware of contractual obligations and expectations.

  • Maintain accurate records of all licenses, permits, certifications and organized contract files, including correspondence, changes, and other relevant documentation.

  • Collaborate with finance and project management teams to ensure that contracts align with project budgets.

  • Maintain an organized system for tracking all required licenses, permits, and certifications relevant to construction activities.

  • Ensure that all licenses are up-to-date, valid, and properly renewed as needed, ensuring that renewals are completed before expiration dates.

  • Monitor changes in licensing requirements and update internal processes accordingly.

  • Facilitate the process of obtaining new licenses and permits required for construction projects.

  • Coordinate with relevant regulatory agencies to ensure timely submission of license applications.

  • Organize and store documentation in compliance with record-keeping requirements.

  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is readily available for audits or inquiries.

  • Raise awareness among the team about the importance of adhering to licensing laws and regulations.

  • Oversee the entire DOT pre-qualification process, and ensure that all requirements are met according to DOT guidelines.

  • Ambitious self-starter

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and type English effectively.

  • Ability to have effective time management.

  • Intermediate Excel skills.

  • Proven experience with contracts and licensing.

  • Must have an adequate ability to apply training received by understanding the focus and general direction of the Compliance & Ethics Department and to utilize the training.

  • Excellent customer service.

  • High school diploma or equivalent

    Salary Range: $68,000 - $85,000
